only cold water for shower, the place is quite noisy because transport and construction companies are close by

good for short stay

there is place to make tea/coffee for free, the personnel is friendly and was able to book island hopping tours for us on last moment notice even though it was difficult. next door with bust terminal, very easy to travel

no hot water at all, poor WiFi even though router was outside our room. there are maintenance works just next door that started at 7 am so it was quite noisy. Also half the rooms including ours, windows lead to main road. windows are not solid glass but look like glass jealousies, with top part (a few cm) not closing at all, so doesn’t isolate from sound at all.

Don't stay here

No aircon, staff were really loud outside our room, woke us at 7am every morning, bathroom full of ants, and a mouse was in our room and we couldn't get it out. Pooped everywhere. Staff weren't bothered.

For staff to appreciate quiet time seeing as our room was next to the office area

If you're on a budget, this is great

It's right across from the local market, go check that out. It is a ten minute walk from El Nido beach but a two minute walk to corong corong bwach. No hot water in my room but you just go outside and get hot and it is refreshing.

bad communication with the staff

Cleanliness was fine. The owner has 2hotels. The staff (man) from the other hotel was really helpful and professional.

We booked 5 days but finally we stayed just one. The hotel was big surprise for us. There is no hot water only cold cold cold (like a lot of the hotels in El Nido) and I informed the staff immediately that I am not happy with this and I will try to cancel my booking. The ladies in the reception were telling me that they write that they have shower. I was trying to explain them that international shower means that there is hot and cold water. The lady continues to say " Yeah but we have shower". Also when I booked the room it was written that they have internet in some rooms (with extra charge). Internet was weak. Actually there is no internet, we couldn't conect at all. I told them that I will stay one day until I will solve my issue via booking and I was asking to refund me. In the beginning they refused until I spoke with the manager from the other hotel and he was really helpful and he finally cancelled my booking. They could solve our issue earlier if staff from my hotel had better communication and informed the owner earlier. They were telling me lies that the owner is not in the country and they cannot contact with her. Also I didn't feel safe when during my check in they gave me a paper to sign that it says that "the hotel shall not be held liable for loss or damage to any valuables left in the room. Valuablue thing can leave at safety deposit box." But there was no deposit box. And when a guest is renting a room he is doing this because he wants his things to be safe. I felt that anyone could enter my room. Also next to the building there are a lot of constructions so it is very noisy. Curtains are not dark and you can wake up morning because it is bright.

It was great. Will definitely consider this if we go back to El Nido.

The caretaker was very approachable and helpful even during the wee hours. Plus, the free coffee and tea was a good feature!

Nothing, really. I think it just satisfies the expectations for a budget accommodation.

A lovely place to which I'd like to return

A lovely place. Very clean - the girls are doing their work all the time!! Nice A/C, friendly staff and the guesthouse is very well localized - you have shops around and it's just 1km away from El Nido.

Search for better ones

At least i liked the collaboration with booking.com and cancellation of the room fee, because i had to leave early.

Hotel cannot be recognized from the street, difficult even if you know the place. Staff are not capable (but at least they try). I found many better hotel and pensions in the city center with better price and comfort. Room is too small and frowsty even for one. There is a shower, which is not separated from toilet and no hot water. More than a hotel or pension, the place may be categorised as a hostel. Not worth for money.

Avoid this place!!

Don’t book this place unless it’s your last option. The room isn’t actually that bad (although the first room we were put in had two cockroaches on the wall so we were moved to another room where the toilet and sink were broken...) but the staff is really the downfall. They were rude and made the overall experience unpleasant. We have had so many lovely hosts in the Philippines but unfortunately, this place was the exception!! Don’t rely on them to book you anything either! We booked a van to Puerto Princess a day in advance through them and it didn’t come- we had to ask them several times to call and try to get us a driver.. we almost missed our flight!

The location is good, since you're close to the proper town and close to Corong corong Beach

The room was humid and smelly. The sheets were humid. We couldn't open the window cause there weren't mosquito nets. Overpriced.

We liked the decoration of the towels.

Very unfriendly staff. It’s located near at the main road. The neighborhood had some chickens. It felt like thousands of roosters. Every two seconds during the whole night one of them crowed. If you planning to attend an extraordinary rooster concert, the place is nice. But if your planning to sleep, it’s more likely that you will end up being disturbed the whole night.

It’s ok just for one or two nights

It’s quite well located, close to the ferry port and ten minutes walk to the city centre The bed was very comfortable, clean and tidy. We also had a fan and a balcony

There’s no internet There was only one small bathroom for ladies with cold water, and no space to wash your teeth. Also very small to shower as there’s no even a hanger to put your clothes

Could've been better without the crowing Roosters!

Free coffee available and they clean the rooms and change the towels everyday. Okay place to stay with this price range.

Because it's surrounded by local's living area the roosters crow like crazy. They start from 4 am until the evening. I could hear them even with the good earplugs. Also no wifi!
